Lunch Bunch Book Club!

Girl With a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier is the book selection for January. History and fiction merge  in this novel about artistic vision and sensual awakening. Girl with a Pearl Earring tells the story of sixteen-year-old Griet, whose life is transformed by her brief encounter with genius ... even as she herself is immortalized in canvas and oil. Join us on 1/9/12 and resolve to start reading for enjoyment in 2012. We meet at 11 am in the Phelan Memorial Library program room. Copies of the selected book are available at the circulation desk.
